How and Why?:

1. There may be many issues to face, and everyone's perspective is true for them. For the good of the group, however, it is best to focus on the most pressing and important issues.  Ranking issues is extremely useful. This helps clarify the focus for a session if it already has not been determined.
   

2. Once a priority list has been established, discussion can take place on relevant issues. New perspectives may unfold. Time frames to implement certain ideas may then be established.
   

3. A ranking wizard can be used to examine variables such as different project ideas compared against cost and time.
